Touhid Hossain, the foreign adviser, called Israel's strike on Iran "reckless" and urged the international community to hold it responsible yesterday.
According to a foreign ministry statement, he made the call during his remarks at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation's Council of Foreign Ministers, which was held in Istanbul.
Touhid vehemently denounced Israel's attack on Iran in his speech at a special session, claiming that the aggression was a serious breach of Iranian sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter.
"Such reckless actions by Israel pose a threat to regional stability and undermine global peace and security," he stated.
Additionally, he demanded that Israel immediately stop its continuous attack in Palestine.
"The OIC must continue to stand together and speak out in favour of accountability and justice through the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice. We need to act strategically and sustainably in order to demonstrate our togetherness.
