Dengue caused 392 hospital admissions and two fatalities in the last 24 hours, the most in a single day this year.
According to data from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), there was one death in Dhaka North City Corporation and one outside the city corporation regions in Barishal Division.
The number of dengue deaths in the nation has now reached 34, including 15 from outside of Dhaka.
The overall number of dengue cases reported rose to 8,150 during that time.
Hospitals around the country are now treating 1,039 patients, 753 of whom are receiving care outside of Dhaka.
