As the first local bank to connect with Google Pay, City Bank will enable its clients to pay at any point-of-sale (POS) terminal using their Android devices.
By employing a "token" in place of the actual card information, Google Pay protects consumer information and doesn't collect fees for transactions.
The service will enable qualified cardholders to safely transact online both locally and abroad and make quick contactless payments in physical stores.
